About Evos Terneuzen: Evos Terneuzen is a Zero Emission Terminal with storage of chemicals and minerals, with an open connection to the sea and therefore accessible to large ships. Approximately 73 employees work at Evos Terneuzen.

About the role: In this role, you ensure maximum availability and efficiency of our installations by working closely with operational teams, technical specialists, and engineers. You play a key role in trouble shooting, optimizing processess, installation integrity, and process safety.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor operational performance of the terminal (troughput, energy usage, product quality, efficiency)

• Drive continuous improvement by indentifying bottlenecks, optimization , and by supporting debottlenecking projects.

• Provide hands-on support to operations staff in resolving operational disturbances

• Execute short-term safety and operational actions originating from HAZOP's, audits and incidents

• Assist in commissioning new equipment or control modifications

• Maintain productive communication with maintenance, engineering, HSSEQ, and other service departments to optimize terminal performance

About you: 

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in Terminal Storage, (Petro) Chemical Operations

• Experience with project management and process improvement

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership

• Fluent in English and Dutch

• You have a structured, proactive, and practical way of working

• Strong communication skills

• You apply risk based decisionmaking
