About the role: The Group Communications Manager creates, implements and oversees the company’s external and internal communications to safeguard the company’s brand name and reputation, effectively describe and promote the organization and its services and to contribute to an effective internal and external communication climate. Your main responsibilities will be:
Develop effective communication strategies, policies, procedures and tooling (using state of art technology) for various purposes.
Maintain consistency in communication, protect and maintain brand name and reputation, and maximize positive media coverage while handling sensitive issues with care and discretion.
Communicate with media outlets and journalists and manage media inquiries and assist in evaluating the request, discussing potential approaches, and advising on the appropriate response.
Draft press releases, speeches, presentations and other materials to support staff in external and internal communications. This includes editing, and proofreading content developed by others.
Set up a comprehensive crisis communications framework in consultation with management that ensures swift, effective, and coordinated responses across the operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Malta, and Spain including (preventive) communications strategies and tools (such as media trainings and simulations).
Elevate brand’s visibility across multiple sectors, communities and stakeholders to attract and further develop potential new customers, partners, investors, new employees and other relations.
Develop and implement marketing communication strategies, and campaigns that are consistent with the organization's brand, including white papers, website stories, etcetera.
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and manage Evos’ visibility and engagement across social media sites.
Manage website development and collaborate to develop content for Evos’ website, catalogues, promotional emails, ads, social media channels, content marketing and professional development conferences and workshops in which Evos participates or sponsors.
Create and maintain style guides and brand voice outlines for all public relations, marketing, advertising and other purposes.
Create and maintain internal communications protocols, initiatives, and periodic internal newsletters that will foster employee morale.
Actively monitor and measure the overall effectiveness of media efforts and marketing communication strategies through defined Key Performance Indicators and provide ongoing reports to evaluate the impact of the implemented communication strategies.
About you: You are an experienced individual with a thorough knowledge of marketing and communications within an international environment. Furthermore, you have:
At least ten years of experience in a marketing, or communications role.
Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve.
Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Able to think analytically and strategically.
Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently.
Superior written and verbal communications skills.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications.
Fluency both in Dutch and English.
Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing / publishing skills are essential, including the ability to present concepts.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
