About Evos Malta: Evos Malta is strategically located in the central Mediterranean for bunkering and East and West trading routes. We are a fully flexible blending terminal with a full segregated infrastructure facilitating high throughput and intra-terminal trading. We work with around 75 employees in our Malta terminal.

About the Maintenance Team: At Evos Malta, the Maintenance Team plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the terminal's infrastructure and equipment. The team is responsible for the ongoing upkeep, inspection, repair, and improvement of all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems across the site.

The team operates under strict safety and environmental standards, in full compliance with national regulations and Evos’ own high internal benchmarks. Working closely with other departments, the Maintenance Team is known for its hands-on approach, technical expertise, and commitment to continuous improvement.

About the role: The main purposes of the role is to ensure the reliable operation, servicing, and maintenance of the terminal’s electrical infrastructure, in compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. The main tasks of the position are:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the terminal’s electrical systems and infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and components.

• Support the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.

• Assist technicians across other disciplines when needed.

• Operate lifting and auxiliary equipment as required.

• Collaborate with and support other departments as directed.

About you: To qualify for this role we expect that you match the following requirements:

• You hold a valid Wireman’s License A and B in electrical installations.

• A technical qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology is preferred.

• Previous hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU is considered an asset.

• Strong communication skills in both Maltese and English.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure.

• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

• Demonstrates willingness to learn and undergo training on both existing and new equipment.

• Must adhere to all terminal procedures and be willing to participate in ongoing training programs.
